Mr. Oyunbat is a partner of the firm. Mr. Oyunbat is specialized in dispute resolution, construction, and mining. He has accumulated extensive experience in representing the clients in various civil and administrative dispute cases.

Mr. Oyunbat’s responsibilities include representing clients in various civil and administrative disputes, advising and drafting wide ranges of agreements for corporate clients, and the preparation of detailed due diligence reports on target companies for mergers and acquisition transactions.

Batbayar is a founding partner of the firm. Prior to establishing Novus Law Group with his partners, he was a legal counsel for Firebird Global Master Fund, Ltd., an investment fund based in New York for Mongolian projects. Before that he was the managing partner of another leading law firm in Ulaanbaatar and previously served as a legal counsel to Erdenet Mining Corporation. Chamber and Partners named Batbayar as one of the notable practitioners in Mongolia. He routinely advises Mongolian and foreign clients on a broad array of issues related to mining, corporate and tax.

Mergen is a partner of the firm. Prior to joining the firm Mergen served as the specialist at the National Security Council of Mongolia. After a successful career at the National Security Council, Mergen started his private practice of law he worked as a criminal defense attorney and started a law firm. Mergen specializes in criminal defense, and also represents clients in civil and administrative proceedings.

Mr. Tsolmonbaatar is a partner of the firm. He works extensively in the areas of dispute resolution, civil and administrative proceedings. Mr. Tsolmonbaatar advises one of the largest Mongolian mining, construction, and logistics group companies and has cumulated experiences in administrative cases.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner of a Mongolian litigation firm and served as an in-house counsel of Mongolia’s largest logistics service provider.

Mr. Bayarkhuu is a partner of the firm. He works extensively in the areas of dispute resolution, civil and administrative proceedings. Mr. Bayarkhuu represents Mongolian large group companies on various legal matters including transactions, corporate compliance, dispute resolutions, applying for business licenses, and permits.

Prior to joining the firm, he was the managing partner of a Mongolian litigation law firm and served as an in-house counsel of Mobicom Corporation, a Mongolian largest mobile network company.

Mr. Sergelen is a managing partner of the firm. He works extensively in the areas of corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions, securities market, mining, and concession.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a managing director of a Mongolian law firm, and previously served as an associate attorney at another major law firm in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
